The re-fencing work on courts 1 and 2 is now complete and there will be new nets fitted in the New Year. We are looking very smart. There is some ground work to be done shortly, but hopefully this will not interfere with the courts or availability but we will keep you informed.
There are one or trees and shrubs hanging over courts 1 and 2 which will need to be taken back very soon, to stop them damaging our new fencing!
Many hands make light work and it should only take a morning to trim and take away if we have a few volunteers. We will be in touch soon with a date in the New Year so please do come along and give us a helping hand. It might help burn off those excess mince pies.
And whilst on the subject of weeding and court maintenance, a big thank you to our Chairman Jono Webster who is regularly seen wandering around the perimeter fencing of the courts on a Saturday or Sunday morning, with a can of weed killer and a trowel, keeping it all neat and tidy and in order. It is greatly appreciated.
